🤝 Big Brand Energy: Bespoke Meets Old Navy

This week, we brokered a meeting between our bespoke menswear client and the marketing team at Gap Brands. We hosted their team for an offsite inside our client’s Manhattan studio and spent a few hours diving into audience targeting, creative brainstorming, industry trends, and exploring future collaborations. Smart conversations, big ideas, and the kind of connections that spark long-term growth.

🌸 Royal-Approved: Meeting a Legacy British Fragrance House

For that same client, we met with a heritage British fragrance company, the very one behind Princess Diana’s signature scent. We discussed potential collaborations, brand activations, and creative ways to align timeless craftsmanship with modern marketing. When legacy meets innovation, Very Good Things happen.

🎥 Take Two (And Nailed It): Video for Manufacturing Client

We delivered a new round of product videos for Manson Reamers, an e-commerce manufacturing client (the Grand Blanc based company is the premier supplier of chamber reamers, headspace gauges, and other cutting and gunsmithing tools) with a very niche but powerful product: a muzzle crowning kit. After learning from our first shoot, the team absolutely crushed it this time, resulting in six polished videos ready to hit Instagram, YouTube, and their website. Clearer storytelling + better execution = more reach and engagement in a category that isn’t able to leverage most paid ad platforms.

📸 Strike a Pose: Plum’s First Content Shoot (for ourselves)

This week, we finally turned the camera on ourselves. We rented a beautifully renovated home in Detroit, loaded up on snacks, and had the most fun we’ve ever had at a photo shoot. The result? Hundreds of new brand photos (yes, hundreds) that actually look and feel like us. No stock images here — just Plum Good people, doing Plum Good things.

We also gave our all-women team a prep budget for hair and nails ahead of the shoot. Because when you’re in front of the camera, feeling confident and cared for matters just as much as lighting or location. Making sure our team feels their best isn’t an afterthought — it’s essential.

🛒 Black Friday Prep for Manufacturing Brands, in August

Yes, it’s still 93° outside — and yes, we’re already prepping for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Why? Because one of our high-volume e-commerce client in the automotive manufacturing space has a key marketing lead heading out on maternity leave. We stepped in early to get their campaigns locked and loaded, and we’re covering short-term duties to ensure their team heads into the holidays stress-free. That’s proactive planning at its finest.

Why We Share These Wins

Because marketing shouldn’t just sound good, it should work (and maybe be a little inspirational). These are the behind-the-scenes examples of strategy, creativity, and execution that we work on day in and day out to help our clients grow.
